Pros - As with all the other comments, great product for the price.
Packaging protected the unit as much as it could.
Cons - Delivery was a pain as the unit is pretty heavy to manhandle by yourself. Delivery driver had no clues how to unload & consequently a big of banging & crashing ensued.
Mine has a few sticky drawers (probably due to delivery method) but a squirt of WD40 & some use will make them work eventually.
Be a great option to have legs instead of wheels which 'bounce' & obviously move irrespective of them being locked.
Have had the bench about 4 months now & where the bench top is in sunlight through the door it's begun to split. Will see how it goes.

An improvement for my application would be a 2/3 drawer above the large bottom one, be far more utilitarian.

So far very happy.

Great Quality and the Galaxy Guys are very Helpful

I purchased this 96" unit because of the number of draws and the increased bench space over the 72" units that you can get from Bunnings for a much higher price. I had mine delivered and like George H says this thing is heavy at 197KG with all the packing around wheels etc. It was a challenge getting it safely to the ground with only the truck driver and myself but it was well worth the effort. The unit itself is sensational, it is the best thing I have ever given to myself for Xmas and I am lucky that my wife is so understanding ;-)

It is very well put together and would not look out of place in someones kitchen, the stainless steel draws are very nice and once I cut some rubber matting to house my hand and power tools i will surely be the envy of all my tool crazy mates.

Also a big thankyou to the staff at Galaxy, they were very helpful and their customer service was a credit to the company. You cannot go wrong with one of these benches.

Review of 24 draw 96 inch tool chest

The trolley is as good as any available in the larger hardware stores. It is well made and robust.

The packaging is excellent. The only concern is that wheels are covered to allow for forklift access making loading and unloading a little tricky onto a trailer.

The draws are robust and work well.

I collected mine from the Melbourne warehouse direct which can be a little daunting for a first timer. Loading this 2.4m unit onto a 6x4 trailer isn't recommended unless you know what you are doing as it overhangs the trailer and is almost 200kg.

I would recommend having it delivered my quote was $110 and good value.

The 24 draws are fantastic, 20 are perfect for hand tools while the 4 deeper draws are good for power tools.

The bench is solid and at a nice height, its almost too nice for a workbench.

The only assembly required is the attachment of 2 handles, I left mine off as my bench isn’t going anywhere.

If you have the space this is a fantastic buy. If not go the 72 inch unit.
